I was going to relax this Friday evening after a long week of being tired. And I started to relax and catch up on articles I hadn’t read and videos I hadn’t seen. I started to get interested in the Steven Crowder video.

I want to talk about it, but this isn’t because it’s Crowder. It could be any relationship for the purposes of my discussion. This just happens to be one people are paying attention to because he’s famous. It’s an out-of-context clip. There are certain things in the article that aren’t in the clip and I honestly don’t trust a lot of news that’s not got video evidence. But, really for what I want to talk about here, it’s not important. The video is a jumping-off platform for talking about a bigger issue. It’s actually something I’ve talked about before in relation to trans-widows.
