Learning how to do hard things and being comfortable with discomfort is probably one of the best skills I'm developing in my 20s and I know that it'll take me far. Thanks for sharing!
It is often said a great deal of personal failure is caused by people avoiding mild discomfort. Never learning to speak in public, or learning new skills to get a promotion or a new job.
Mild discomfort and its avoidance may count for a lot. But it is interesting to think it may drive aspects of the SJW world too. Much of it does seem irrational and impervious to reason. Emotionally driven for sure.
All desire to control others comes from a desire for change what's going on in the world and a lack to do the change themselves. It's not just a small aspect of the SJW world. It's the whole reason they play "Saviors."
That is fascinating. And makes perfect sense too. Why do the painful inner work with all the confrontation it requires, when the world can just accommodate you. It ties in with a narcissistic worldview as well.
That's the deal. They've been taught (from their families & MSM) that that's the way the world is supposed to work. They teach that we're supposed to force people to do things so we can feel better. The whole reason I write is so that people can realize it's way more powerful to take the reins and do the work on your time-schedule, rather than waiting for other people to do things to get happier about life in the future some time. This is why the SJWs are always upset. They've left their "happiness" in the hands (responsibility) of others, who are never going to do it for them.
I get that. And as someone who has spent years doing inner work it is painful even to confront it never mind change. So it is more than just time. It must be a fruitless search to make the world change for you.
