It can be so frustrating to watch it all unfold, especially when it seems the "distanced" people (outside of the drama triangle) are in the minority. But we do have to remember there are people not getting involved and not even talking about it. We just don't hear from the quiet ones. It's the loud crazies who get the microphone online and in the mainstream news.

I find this frustrating too. Although I only came across your work recently and I was unfamiliar with the drama triangle. It is a great way to make sense of what we see in others.

It even seems to operate at scale. I have been watching the Palestinian demonstrations and the anger on display. Whatever people think of Israel or Palestine it is not rational. People living thousands of miles away deeply invested in a piece of land that has been disputed for two thousand years, yet they ignore the decline and destruction of their own countries. But I suspect that is them believing they are saviours and they characterize calmer voices as evil.
