I am curious, and I am not sure I understand you completely, why do you not believe in the holy trinity?

I grew up a Catholic Trinitarian, but I studied the early followers, the bible, and trinity out and found out that no one in the Bible believed in the trinity. The trinity was created by people hundreds of years after Christ died.

Christ claimed to be the Messiah, not the creator. You can learn more about the early followers of Christ, Essenes and Ebionites on my other Christian substack. https://leavesofthetree.substack.com/p/christology-who-did-christ-claim?utm_source=publication-search

Thank you. I am a Catholic convert. I suppose my faith comes from within more than without. When I pray or just converse with my Creator I am speaking to God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit all as one. In my mind and heart they are One. I do appreciate your view however.

I believe they are one in purpose, just not one being. Jesus prayed to the father (John 17:1-3), so I think trinitarians have a different God than Jesus did. But like I said, they are all one in plan and purpose.

Interesting. I disagree with many of your theological conclusions but that's OK. And I don't think of myself as a victim. I WAS a victim before I turned toward God because I was mired and tormented by sin. I was miserable. You may want to read my reversion essay, and my latest witness/ contemplation: Sorrow/Grief?
