Perfection is elusive. Taking responsibility is "hard". I'm very disappointed with humanity that we aren't making a decent effort, we choose the easy path. 😢

I can become upset with it as well, because really, as I wrote, our protector personalities are going so overboard they're hurting more than helping. I mean, if people were not terrified of COVID, a lot of people wouldn't have died or been so hurt they wish they were dead because of over-protectiveness.

But, then I think about whether or not I'm projecting my own issues onto them. So I'm going to keep judging myself before judging others, and continue to do the work of attempting to feel safe through actions of my own before thinking about asking other people to change.

Wise approach!

Perhaps it's time for some of us to "let go and move on"? But there are a lot of people that feel it's essential to have retribution against those who shifted the destruction of our society into fast forward.

Having people face legal consequences through the system, etc. is a good way to get justice and I hope and pray for that. But retribution... physical vengeance is not going to do anything positive, because that will just cause the other side to get more defensive.

It's what leads to the forever wars. The never ending excuse of the other side's previous offenses.

Exactly. Tim Pool's song "Will of the People" is about that as well. I do not think we need to be like this. But, it will take people choosing to do the difficult thing which so many do not want to do until they can see no other choice.
