The medical tyranny of 2020-22 was an unprecedented crime against humanity. I am glad that some people are still talking about it - such as you. You just know they will try it again, especially if we are complacent and in denial. The remedy is to think for yourself. Medical authorities can be as easily corrupted as religious or political authorities. We witnessed it firsthand, all of us.
We haven't forgotten this. The rest of the world may like to forget, but there will be repercussions for generations even if they never try something like it again. But they may, because they haven't learned their lesson yet. We need to be prepared to say, "No."
Medical authority has indeed been perverted to serve a fascistic and oppressive State. I call it Pharmaceutical Authoritarianism, and it's just as evil as the more mundane forms.
Yes, thank you. These things do need to be reaffirmed since “the current thing” or other thought bubbles seem to go through Normieville way too quickly and we must not give up on the really important mento-politico-spiritual matters that such mandates represent. Funnily, one thing that stuck in my brainhole (annoyingly) when I read your article was the snippet from the Guardian where they used the execrable phrase “pregnant people”. ...And Jesus wept!
I also saw that "pregnant people" and rolled my eyes.
I think that the reason the people switch to the "current thing" is that they are stuck in the drama triangle and always afraid of some "persecutor." They have a free, floating fear and it just movies to the next topic as soon as the MSM narrative switches. I wrote about supporting the "current thing" back in 2023: https://www.thedramaofitall.com/p/wokeness-and-supporting-the-current
"In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes." Judges 21:25
I do not believe it can be said often enough that we are each of us created as moral beings.
We have moral agency. We are called to make moral choices.
It is not merely that we have the power to say "No". When confronted with immorality, with authoritarianism and oppression in any of its many forms, we have a positive duty to say "No".
Our moral agency comes from God, not from the State.
Our Freedom therefore comes from God and not from the State. And we should not doubt that we are called by God to be Free as much as we are to be moral and holy.
We must always remember that, as President John F. Kennedy said so eloquently in his 1961 inaugural address, "the rights of man come not from the generosity of the State but from the hand of God." No State, no government, has a primary claim on our conscience or our Freedom. Those belong only to God.
Resisting tyranny is not merely right. Resisting tyranny is righteous.
That's good that you were able to have practice sessions with them. Many people are never taught how to have good boundaries because their parents didn't practice good boundaries.

I haven't finished watching this video with Josh Slocum yet, but I was watching part of it yesterday and they talked about it as well. https://rumble.com/v5do3yt-the-state-of-american-politics-and-authoritarianism-a-conversation-with-jos.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp

Hopefully more and more people are learning how to say "no".
I sure hope so!

Thank you for writing about this! We can never forget and never again comply. We could have stopped this crime against humanity.

When I was a counselor at a county jail I learned that NO is a very hard word for people to say. I did two practice sessions just saying the word.
